The year is 1742, and David Garrick is the biggest celebrity in London, the scene of Romeo and Hamlet every night at Drury Lane Playhouse. " David Garrick "no best-known novel is the novel – and it is our loss, the song is fantastic. Unlike most romance novels and comparison with the new comedy romantic, this story tells the ancient history in the way of all great novels: two people in love, separated by external conditions. Garrick's novel began life as a popular theater play. According to several sources, initially in the form of Robertson's history as a romance novel, David Garrick: A Love Story, which was printed in 1864, serialized in The English youth. However, when the series was reprinted in 1865 as a regular romance Robertson says in his preface that was reversed, and his novel has been adapted from his work. Co-author and original performer of the main character, Edward A. Sothern says: "During a conversation one day [Author TW Robertson] mentions in passing that many years ago, had led a German comedy entitled "Dr. Davy, and told the story to me. It was so light thin and strong, however, that a typical page letter was enough paper to describe everything. However, I was struck by the simplicity of the story, and I saw a look containing elements of success … and when it finally came under the name of "David Garrick", also met with flattering success was unequivocal. This is the story of "David Garrick."
Although the plots between the two versions are virtually identical, the tone of the novel is much more sentimental and gloomy. Although much of the humor was removed in the novel, and much of his statement was added, and the romance really begins the day Garrick and eyes Ada first set of each other.

Even when Garrick antics incur the wrath of Ada breaking point, she resorts to insulting the object of his love: real tears of disappointment is all you can handle.
The original game created Prince of Wales Theatre, Birmingham in 1864, where he has been successful enough to be transferred to the Haymarket Theatre in London. It was a great success Edward Askew Sothern the actor, who played the title role, but later came to be associated with another famous actor, Charles Wyndham, often romantic rules with his wife in real life scene as Ada Garrick. A 1923 book, now in public speaking, it is recommended for performance by students of the school with The Importance of Being Earnest and competitors. In 1922, the comic opera play was adapted by Reginald Somerville Theatre and played the Queen. The game was designed as a star vehicle, since man took to represent the famous 18th century actor David Garrick himself as an actor to performance.
The work was TW Robertson's most commercially successful and often echoed during the Victorian era and beyond. Many were the movies silent fiction genre to David Garrick, including versions 1913, 1914 and 1916.
