Comedy Night at Venus II to raise money for Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield
Saturday, January 26, Venus II restaurant is home to many of the largest players of the region in an effort to raise funds for the nonprofit organization. Doors at 7 pm and show starts at 8:00 pm Tickets are $ 20 each one and all proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield.
1,000 members strengths Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield offers the area ages 6-18 of youth with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment.
The product Comedy Night to help support ongoing programming and special events for children in the club.
The night training includes:
Chrissy Kelleher, emcee, who made the comedy throughout New England, but calls home Marshfield. James Duffy, who is one of the new rising stars in the Boston area. Last Year was a finalist in two competitions at comedy shorebreak Rhode Island and the valley of laughter Festival Comedy in western Massachusetts
John Garrison, who was standing on stage since 2004. It was one of eight comics to perform in the comic strip "New Competition "in 2004 New York Underground Comedy Festival and was the 2005 winner of the Palm Springs conference Judy Carter Comedy Showcase. Was selected to play in the 2007 Festival Boston Comedy and his foot has been heard on XM radio.

The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield aims to provide a safe haven for recreation, which includes a variety of supervised activities for the more than 4,000 young people from the city. With a mission to "inspire all young people reach their full potential as productive citizens and responsible, but to become capable leaders of tomorrow, the club is for children 6-18.
